NRX is looking for highly skilled senior Java/J2EE developers to help extend and improve on the industry leading NRX Asset Hub product. In particular we are looking for top notch, talented individuals able to get up to speed quickly and be productive with minimal supervision. You will be expected to guide technical decisions and be responsible for delivering high quality tested code.  NRX uses the Scrum methodology and as a result, we place strong emphasis on code quality.  Experience with writing unit tests is a must.The successful applicant will be expected to not only write code but also be involved with the business process analysis, design, and writing of functional and technical requirements specifications.  From time to time, you will also have the opportunity to work on customer projects in support of client integration and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

• • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of work experience in Enterprise Java technologies
  • Advanced core Java programming skills including multi-threading
  • Solid networking, communications and security experience
  • Strong relational database and SQL skills:  Oracle (preferred), DB2, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Solid understanding of OO design principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• • Functional and/or technical experience with SAP ECC is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Web Services, RESTful APIs, XML, XSL
  • Practical user interface design experience
  • Exceptional time management skills with ability to effectively prioritize under pressure
