Senior QA Analyst - Test Automation Team

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role requires manual and/or automated testing as well as replication of issues arising during customer implementations of various NRX solutions. You will work as a member of NRX QA team to ensure that a superior software solution is delivered to the customers. You will need to work closely with other QA team members, developers, business analysts and, in some cases, clients to guarantee product quality.

Your responsibility as Senior QA Analyst will be to:

    • Participate in agile software development proceTss by performing automated as well as manual testing
    • Effectively troubleshoot issues encountered during product implementation and help identify and address issues submitted to NRX customer support
    • Contribute to continued improvements of QA processes to ensure a high level of software quality
    • Assist in software installation, system configuration, deployment of J2EE applications
    • Interact with product managers, developers, support engineers and fellow colleagues to support automated testing activities
    • Create and maintain test documentation such as acceptance and regression test plans 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • A minimum of 3 years of enterprise software quality assurance experience
    • Able to lean new technologies quickly
    • Solid experience with Software Testing Automation tools
    • Ability to multitask and take initiative
    • Ability to successfully plan and execute efficient and effective product functionality testing
    • Strong people skills, ability to positively motivate others promoting teamwork and resolution of issues
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to convey complex ideas to a variety of functional and technical audiences


OPTIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

    • A university degree in Computer Science or related discipline
    • Knowledge in the following technologies/ experiences would be particularly valuable:
    • Able to read and write Java code with an emphasis on J2EE or Java servlets
    • Able to read and write Groovy in order to interact with Public API’s
    • Knowledge of main stream application servers such as Tomcat or JBOSS or WebLogic or OAS/OC4J
    • Exposure to server operating systems both windows based and UNIX(Solaris, AIX, HPUX) as well as Linux based (RedHat / CentOS or SUSE SLES)
    • Database experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server, including both basic administration tasks such as creating DB/Schemas as well as exaction of PL/SQL or T-SQL scripts
    • Familiarity with Load testing and load testing tools
    • Experience with SAP technologies (NetWeaver and ECC) and other ERP systems
    • Knowledge of Document Management Systems
